Text: Most of the books I love enough that I’d write fanfic for them are literary classics 100+ years old. I have loads of plot bunnies! None of which, alas, will ever become full-fledged fanfics, because I am paranoid they would be stolen.

Every time I think about it, I envision idle students stealing the shorter stories to turn in as homework, while the wonders of Amazon KDP might tempt even more unscrupulous people to try and make money off the longer ones.

I can’t summon up the energy to write stories I don’t intend to share with anyone else. I’m slightly bitter about all the bunnies that are left to die because of this.

CURSE YOU, IMAGINARY PLAGIARISTS!
