I don't think he could pull off the glasses and tweed look, though. The thing about Indiana is that he was bookish too. Hot and bookish.

They already tried to reboot the series once with the crystal skull kid and it just didn't go over with audiences at all. It would be really bad for Pratt's career if this sank.

Eh. To be fair, before Raiders of the Lost Ark, Harrison Ford also wasn't exactly rocking the bookish scholar type. It's a bit of a strain in the Indiana Jones movie, which is precisely why he spends so little time in his professor role.

As for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, I get your point, but you sort of missed the fact that despite being a total tool, Shia LaBeouf still has a career. Not a great career in terms of respect from your peers, but the Transformers franchise hasn't exactly made him or Michael Bay paupers.

That wasn't a reboot you idiot.

Idiot seems a bit strong. You sound upset. Restart, then. It was definitely an effort to hand the franchise off to a hot new Indy, Jr. But what a failure.

Come to think of it, Labeouf could easily be mistaken for Pratt. Hollywood has no imagination.
