...because these are all fetishes. And not just in Japan. way to pick Japanese fanart because they do tend to be the most obvious offenders but their crazy-ass fetishes have turned out to be universal, and people of all cultures and nations with access to the internet share and enjoy their fetishes.

So you really can't do much besides sigh and roll your eyes, because it's been going on for a very long time and will not stop anytime soon. It has nothing to do with the characters or truth or canon or "character integrity," it has everything to do with what will get you clicks or cash. What the artist finds hot is probably not the character as they're portrayed in canon, and as long as they draw something that lots of other people also find hot, ain't a damn thing you can do about it besides clutch your pearls.

Someone who isn't familiar with Jinx and who saw the left picture first wouldn't think anything was wrong with it. The fetish art is being passed off as normal instead of being shunted off to fetish sites where it belongs.

This isn't about fetish porn. Breast inflation is a completely different thing than simply drawing a flatchested character with boobs she doesn't have - and very obvious.

If you don't have an inflation kink and just like large breasts, again, why choose a character who's flat as a board...there's plenty of characters out there who have the kind of breasts you're looking for!

Also, a few other points:

This does happen, yes, but not nearly to the extent that flat chested and small-breasted characters get enhanced. I could brows fanart of Tifa for days and not find as many pictures of Loli-Tifa as I'll get of Big-Boob Yuffie on one page.
