minor example, but when I first read the book Inkheart, I always pictured Alexis Denisof in my head as Mo. I didn't actually think he would get or even be considered for the movie role, but I was still really disappointed when Brendan Fraser was cast.

I'd be disappointed if Brenden Fraser was cast in my movie. Was Mo a serious role?

Reasonably serious (not like hardcore or anything. he's a nice guy, but not really lighthearted or goofy)

I thought the author of the books was like, creepy-crush level infatuated with Fraser, and wrote the books with him in mind for Mo. Which was honestly kind of weird to me even above and beyond the creepiness, because if I was going to imagine someone with a voice so beautiful it could bring fictional characters to life, Brendan Fraser is not even in my top ten.

Lol wow, really? I had no idea about that. Well, at least she got the actor she wanted I guess. Pretty weird though, like you said. I don't know anyone who likes Brendan Fraser that much
