Based on #2

What actors/actresses would you want to see in a certain role?

I am totally here for Chris Pratt as Indiana Jones. Now that Disney owns the franchise, I can totally get behind another movie in the series.

Previously, I had always wanted to see Michael Fassbender in a Western. Fortunately, he will be in one in 2015. I don't know much about the director (I did like the short film he did with Fassbender) but it has cowboys (mmmmmmm). The music is done by a composer I like so, if nothing else, I have that to enjoy!

Eight years ago or whenever I was legitimately invested in Zac Efron playing Light from Death Note. it started as a joke meme, but turns out, Zac was a huge Death Note fan and there were even videos of him talking about it. Now he's too old, but I always think it's so awesome when real fans get to take part in the franchise.

I love it as well! That is one of the reasons I love Karl Urban as Bones. He is such a Trekkie, I love it. It makes you think that even if nothing else, at least the actor respects the role.

minor example, but when I first read the book Inkheart, I always pictured Alexis Denisof in my head as Mo. I didn't actually think he would get or even be considered for the movie role, but I was still really disappointed when Brendan Fraser was cast.

I'd be disappointed if Brenden Fraser was cast in my movie. Was Mo a serious role?

I thought the author of the books was like, creepy-crush level infatuated with Fraser, and wrote the books with him in mind for Mo. Which was honestly kind of weird to me even above and beyond the creepiness, because if I was going to imagine someone with a voice so beautiful it could bring fictional characters to life, Brendan Fraser is not even in my top ten.

In my mind, Roose Bolton will basically always be Alan Howard. Mostly the voice, but that unassuming and ordinary face is part of it.

Wow. How did I recognize him as a Game of Thrones character??? So you want Roose Bolton to be played by Alan Howard?

Ellen Page as some sort of Harrison Ford-esque adventure hero. I WILL NEVER BACK DOWN FROM THIS IDEA

Also, Michael Shannon in some sort of "honorable man on a rampage" mystery-thriller type thing, with guns in. What I think of as the Bunta Sugawara role.

I would watch this.

Michael Shannon is that actor I always forget about until I see him. And then I am like, "He rocks." Take Shelter was amazing.

So, you'd want to see him in a movie like Taken?

Your Ellen Page idea is perfect. Hopefully one day it will be made into a film. (I've heard about the live reading with her as Han Solo.)

I've always wanted to see Michelle Rodriguez in a main role. I'm sick of her playing the minor character who gets killed off so the more feminine woman can survive.

I also love the idea of Chris Pratt as Indiana.

Chris Hemsworth in an original scifi movie. Chris Hemsworth in any movie that involves him taking his shirt off.

Karen Gillan in a non scifi movie/non horror movie. I want to see her in a drama or something to really see her acting chops.

She isn't a main character, but she is in like 3 Fast and Furious movies!

So, we need Chris Hemsworth in a Conan the Barbarian remake. HE'LL NEVER BE WEARING A SHIRT THEN! MWAHAHAHAHA!

Michelle Rodriguez is the main character in Girlfight and Tropico de Sangre. She's really good in both of those.

Sometimes I fantasize about a Nick and Nora Charles movie being made with Drew Barrymore and Robert Downy Jr. but there's something about the idea that is just kind of off.

While I respect your opinions and preferences, my personal feeling is that I would not enjoy such a film much, if at all.

Oh! The Thin Man series. I had a friend who loved those. She'd go crazy if RDJ was cast in one of those movies.

I was really hoping for Bruce Campbell and Kristin Chenoweth as Haymitch and Effie in The Hunger Games. I love the actors who got picked, but I'd still love to see that version.

IMO Bruce Campbell should be in every movie

I fell in love with Bruce Campbell last week (watched the Evil Dead trilogy), so I'd love to him in anything. I need to watch that USA show is on.

I've got a million ideas for Euron Greyjoy from ASOIAF/Game of Thrones. I'm always like, YES HIM. Like, Tim Roth is currently a big contender at the moment for me. He looks like the show version of the Greyjoys, and he can be the charming gross kraken I need in my life.

Also, they'd never do it, BUT if there was ever ever ever a live action movie or something for Archer, and Jessica Walters wasn't Mallory, I want it to be Christine Baranski.

Apparently that dude from Hannibal is a popular choice for Euron. If my google search is any indication!

I'd prefer Tim Roth. :

The only reason I would want to see a Sandman movie adaptation would be so Tilda Swinton could be cast as Desire. It is too perfect imo.

If they absolutely have to do something with the Spider-Man franchise, I'd like one focused on Spider-Woman. Jessica Chastain could play Julia Carpenter and Bella Thorne could play her daughter.

There's a whole bunch of actors I'd like to see in a Regency-era period piece - Paul Bettany, Hugh Grant, Brad Pitt, Hugh Laurie, Kevin Kline, Emma Thompson, Delroy Lindo, Helen Mirren, Gwyneth Paltrow, Judi Dench, Stephen Fry, Alan Rickman, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Jonny Lee Miller, Hugh Dancy, Freema Agyeman, Ben Whishaw, Marsha Thomason, and Emily Blunt could all be members of the ton. I don't even care what it's about - romance, drama, mystery, whatever - just awesome costumes and awesome actors.
