I'd probably go back to India, because I rally loved it there and it's just so vast I've only seen a very small bit of it.

My travel style depends. As a child, I basically went to fancy hotels with my folks - pretty classic beach holiday at the sea/pool.

Later I did the whole tour bus thing.

Nowadays I mostly just do budget travel, in youth hostels or guesthouses. Rent a car or use public transport if available.

I like monuments, but I found that over time I do not need to see every little church along the way. I sort of just like breathing in the atmosphere, getting a feel for the place.

I'm not sure if I could take my bf everywhere, though. I've been in places with roaches, and holes for toilets and dust everywhere. Not sure how he'd handle it.

Less than ideal living conditions is just part of travel, imo. Ideally, you're there to experience the different ways people live and gain an appreciation for other cultures and your own in the process.

...If you stick to hotels and McDonald's and fast food everywhere you go, you're not really travelling, you're just kind of going someplace without learning much of anything.
