I thought season 2 was the weakest, but I still enjoyed a lot of it. Two things that I really didn't like was the mover-star!Bolin subplot and the fact that they had Korra be cut off from her past lives. That still kind of ticks me off

Yeah Bolin kind of got shafted a lot of the time. Yeah, he was funny, but sometimes it felt like his character's purpose was to be made a fool of. In season 2 he didn't really grow at all, and his plot was pretty pointless in the end.

I was actually impressed that Korra got cut off from her past lives, though. "Permanent" ramifications are tough to pull off in a kids' show, but I liked it. I really thought that the Avatar line would be ended with her too by the end, I expected that from the Red Lotus or whatever, but they didn't go there. Would've been really interesting and shocking, but I guess kill any chance of a new series... though I don't believe they are planning that anyway.
