Checking out the Bridge to Nowhere in New Zealand. I have no idea why, but this is my number thing to see whenever I get there. I'm really hoping to go for my 40th birthday, which is less than a decade away. Saving for that will hopefully be less of a financial workout than saving up for the dream vacation I'm going to make happen next year: going to the Olympics (as a spectator, of course).

New Zealand is pretty awesome, anon, though we never hit the Bridge to Nowhere. We spent eight months on the North Island and it was GREAT. We actually were considering immigrating more permanently for a bit!
