Yes, it does seem you have a problem with that, since you seem to think you're entitled to privacy in a public space.

(Anonymous) 2015-02-11 03:41 am (UTC)(link)
OHHHHOHOHO, it's about privacy now, huh?

Before it was sharing, and then distribution, and then toasters, and then entitlement, and now it's about privacy. None of which were actually part of the point about fanfic writers having the right to delete their stories without having people like you telling them they're morally wrong for denying them.

Kid, you can throw your tantrum about writers not doing what you want them to do all you want. You can derail and go off on asinine tangents all you like. It still doesn't make you anything other than an entitled (and thoroughly misinformed) little whiner.

I've told people they're morally wrong? Really? I've been telling writers do things for me? That's news to me.

You are no less entitled and no less whiny than any reader out there. You just think it's okay because you write and oh doesn't that just make you oh so special. There's piles and piles of dross out there written by untalented hacks who think they deserve accolades because they know their parts of speech. They don't deserve anything.

Shall I get out my tiny imaginary violin, you bitter, bitter child?

Omg someone knows something better than you do and will argue those points with you when you make blatant mistakes, clearly they're horrible and undeserving!

(Anonymous) 2015-02-11 03:53 am (UTC)(link)
It has nothing to do with arguing points and everything to do with the notion that you deserve any kind of respect simply for having created something. No one does.

(Anonymous) 2015-02-11 04:02 am (UTC)(link)
So no one deserves basic human decency in your world.

No wonder you're bitter.

(Anonymous) 2015-02-11 04:03 am (UTC)(link)
It's not a bad idea to be decent, but no one's entitled to decency, no.

(Anonymous) 2015-02-11 04:54 am (UTC)(link)
But people are entitled to copy and redistribute media?

(Anonymous) 2015-02-11 05:02 am (UTC)(link)
See, this is what I'm talking about when I'm talking about twisting words. You're taking "if someone has a copy of something that's no longer being distributed, they should be allowed to keep it" and turning it into "if someone has a copy of something, then they should be able to redistribute it." Which is not what I've said. At all.
