One of my dearest friends is a gay man that finds the absolute obsession with "preparation" hilarious. He's told me about the many times he and his boyfriend couldn't be assed (har!) with it, and just used whatever happened to be nearby at the time as some form of lube to get straight to the ramming. My personal favorite statement: "Beer was a bad idea."

I think that depends on the person. I peg/finger my bf on a regular basis and he has the tightest ass ever. Like it takes so much time and effort to get him to relax every single time. I can't imagine going in cold with him. But for myself... yeah just pop it in.
