Assuming that most slash fic writer are also female, they can have anal sex every hour on the hour, they're still never going to be able to know what it feels to do so with a prostate.

Should they have some kind of implant or transplant before they're qualfiied to write men having anal sex?

What about those who write about clitoral orgasms who've never had a clitoris, what should they do?

It's not just about the prostate.

Yeah, it's just another way of saying women's writing isn't good enough. If all the female slash writers had anal sex for research, then it would be "but they didn't have prostate stimulation" or "they didn't feel their balls swinging" or whatever.

I think that's a bit of a stretch. The issue isn't with women writing about anal sex, it's about people (who are often women) writing about anal sex in ways that make it clear they haven't had anal sex or even done a lot of research. It's just as ridiculous when male authors think all women can (and will) have multiple shrieking penetration-only orgasms.

Yeah. It's usually embarrassingly obvious when an author learned everything they know about anal sex from slash fanfic and visual porn (which as a rule, isn't necessarily any more realistic than the fanfic. A lot gets edited out in the live action stuff.)
