I was really enjoying the show until Shinra and Celty got together. Like, what the everloving fuck? He was an emotionally manipulative creep to her, and she's known him since he was a little kid (and she was an adult).

idk if it's an ideal love, but I think they're pretty genuine. Shrina's messed up in the head, Celty's a 100-years-old fairy with NO head, it's fucked up, but in fiction-land it works.

Well, one of the more shitty things about Durarara was that it tended to be a show that paired practically every character. Only one of the pairings worked for me and the rest I was over.

Do we actually know if it was their first crushes ever? I mean... in the series yeah, but otherwise...

Anyway, I'm kind of glad they hooked up. It seems like a healthy relationship to me. Some of the other pairings I'm a bit more eh on though.
