That's only one of the many disappointing things about Durarara (but it is definitely one of them)

Sad but true. (Probably makes me a terrible "fan" but this show is one of the few where I prefer the anime adaption and not the original novels.

I was really enjoying the show until Shinra and Celty got together. Like, what the everloving fuck? He was an emotionally manipulative creep to her, and she's known him since he was a little kid (and she was an adult).

I've had this argument before on here enough times so w/e, I accept your arguments and your opinion about the series despite my personal belief that Shinra and Celty are trulove forever

idk if it's an ideal love, but I think they're pretty genuine. Shrina's messed up in the head, Celty's a 100-years-old fairy with NO head, it's fucked up, but in fiction-land it works.

LOL I loved Celty & Shinra getting together. They were really cute together and emotional realism is a pretty outrageous thing to expect from a show like this.
