I agree. The art looks dumb. Same reason I haven't checked out this "Adventure Time" (?) thing that everyone's raving about. It looks stupid and I have no interest, even if it were to have the best plot in the world.

I still don't even know what either are actually about.

Same, on both counts. My husband watches AT, and whenever I hear/read one of the jokes off-chow, I think it's funny. But the animation just puts me off (omg, Jake's arms! ew! People have elbows!).

Also agree with AT. That looks like the stuff I used to draw when I was eight years old!

Agreed on both counts. The thing is, not liking the art style in a comic is like not liking the writing style in a book- the story can be the best thing ever, but if you can't deal with the style it's in, that doesn't really matter.
