(Anonymous) 2015-02-14 12:44 pm (UTC)(link)Hey, I'm with you. If nothing else, that sounds like a slog of a read, boring and whiny. It doesn't sound like my kind of book, and nothing you've written sounds remotely appealing to me.
But the point is, if people out there DO like it, that's kind of what actually matters, isn't it? If by reading it some women are getting swoony and wet, great. The book is for them, then, not me. It's a fantasy because a lot of women are getting into it, so I don't see the point in pretending it's impossible for this sort of thing to have any appeal.
