Whether you're happily indulging in it, hating it because you're single, hating it because it's commercialized madness, or using it as an excuse to eat chocolate but otherwise don't gaf about the holiday, I hope everyone's having a great Valentine's Day! What are your plans for the day?

(I hope I made it clear that having super fluffy romantic plans and having zero plans and having plans to deliberately undermine the holiday are all equally valid options!)

My parents are spending the night at a hotel so I'll be enjoying having the place to myself (not that it's so unusual). I have a big Reese's heart I bought that I'll be eating and I think I'll finish off some rum that's been sitting around for a while and maybe dip into some of the other various kinds of alcohol around here. I'll probably pass some time with Pokemon. I've got a few extra legendaries that I'm going to see if I can trade for other legendaries that I can't get on my own, and I might go shiny hunting. I'm slowly getting better at chaining.

I'll try not to think too much about how my girlfriend is hours away. She goes home every other weekend and this happened to be one of those weekends and as far as her parents know there was no reason for her to stay at her apartment at school. But maybe I'll knit or crochet her something to give her the next time I see her. Last year I made her a stuffed Appa from ATLA. And then I showed it off here. Huh, I forgot how long it's been since I actually started commenting.

I'm gonna blare music that he doesn't really like (it's not like he gets on me if I wanna play it while he's around or anything, I just choose to respect his tastes and NOT play it so much while he's around, and he does to same for me)! I'm gonna cook myself a meal that I love but he wouldn't be able to eat! I'm gonna play vidya games!

Today I'm doing nothing at all related to Valentine's Day! I've celebrated Singles Awareness Day for...um...about four years?

But tomorrow I'm buying a lot of chocolate because it will be on sale. Genuinely excited about that. <3

(I also have a date tomorrow which is kind of ironic. But I'm glad we didn't end up doing it today, that would have been really awkward, since we're not actually a couple. at this point. we'll see.)

Me and hubby watched the Big Gay Musical, because he loves it and I love him. We will possibly watch another gay movie as well.

We went to the gym, got delicious curry, and got groceries to cook a fancy dinner, but unfortunately I'm not feeling so well so we might have to kick that back to another time.

He got me a fancy dark chocolate bar with ginger in it. Bless his heart, even if he DOES have rotten taste in film.

Some friends of my aunt gave me complimentary Legoland tickets they didn't want to use, so I went today with my husband and daughter. She's not yet two, so there was a lot she couldn't do, but we had a good time geeking out the miniatures of New Orleans and San Francisco and meeting Emmett and Wyldstyle from the Lego Movie.

My husband and I don't really do couple stuff on Valentines Day, so it was a perfect way to spend the day.
