I can't imagine calling Aragorn, Ara or Gorn or something like that. Or Gand for Gandalf. Or Galady or Glorfy (which I have seen in fic -- at least the Glorfy one was said by elf-children and made to seem like something that they said because Glorfindel was too hard. It was cute there but they had the elves keep saying it when they grew up, which was too weird for me).
