(Anonymous) 2015-02-17 09:02 am (UTC)(link)Since when shippers care about married people or canon relationships? Never stopped shippers. If he were shipped with a white girl or his male best friend no one would care about him being married or if he had ten kids and obviously loved his wife.
If you don't like the other ship fine but don't be disingenuos.

(Anonymous) 2015-02-17 04:15 pm (UTC)(link)In my fandom, people are actively rooting for infidelity so the guy can leave his life and very young son for the fandom darling.
But she's white and has big boobs so that's okay.

(Anonymous) 2015-02-17 06:21 pm (UTC)(link)(Honestly, let's stop accusing others of racisms when the source of all is A shippers vs. B shippers (A shipper haters))

(Anonymous) 2015-02-17 11:40 pm (UTC)(link)Pretty much. I've seriously never seen so many panties in a wad over the whole marriage issue. Since when do shippers care about marriage as an obstacle? They certainly don't care about lack of chemistry, affinity, species or sexual orientation as impediments to a ship, so why now?
I don't want to think it's racism, really I don't. But I'm having a difficult time theorizing what the problem is.
