If the cast features mostly/several LGBT characters, that wouldn't bother me very much.

But if they kill off one of the only LGBT characters and/or half of the one non-heterosexual couples in the work, that pisses me off.

(Unfortunately more works that have stuff like this fall into the later category more than the former.

Same.

Several lgbt? Okay okay.

The ONLY lgbt? Uhhh. No. That's a bit too much like killing off the only black person or the only woman. Especially if it's in the first half of the media.

Entirely too common and therefore quite distasteful for me.
