but Mean Girls

There were a lot of funny things in Mean Girls. I don't recall Lindsey Lohan's teacher being one of them.

I thought she wrote the screenplay? I could be wrong. But I agree, the character herself wasn't one of the more exciting parts.

If so, the screenplay IS pretty funny. I was thinking more of her actual acting/comedic roles. Maybe she's a good writer but a bad performer--American humor is pretty reliant on good delivery.

Yeah, she and Poehler wrote the screenplay together.

That's how I think about her. Great on content, mediocre on performance.

She did. Which makes it even funnier than someone would be ignorant of her accomplishments, yet still feel justified in dismissing her comedy skils.
