Unfortunately, there's not really a "what it's like" when it comes to fibromyalgia. That's because this diagnosis is often used like a catch-all term for pain and fatigue that is unexplained but chronic to the point of requiring pain management, often with narcotic interventions.

If you have chronic pain and fatigue the reality is it could be caused by any number of reasons including vitamin or micronutrient deficiencies, degenerative muscle conditions, lack of exercise, or poor sleep due to sleep disturbances (e.g. sleep apnea).

If you haven't already seen your primary care physician about this issue, it might be time to. Especially if your condition has persisted for a number of weeks.

This. I used to have those symptoms, and for me they were the result of anemia. It's far more likely that they're being caused by something like that than by fibromyalgia.
