People who use af and v (usually on tumblr). Bugs me and I think it's lazy AS FUCK.

I feel old, but what does that mean?

af means "as fuck" (IE I would say that I am tired af, meaning tired as fuck, meaning very tired) and v as in short for "very"

ironically I use p. for "pretty" (when it's being used the same way as "very") and haven't even thought of the v thing.

AF as shorthand annoys me but maybe only because I haven't yet seen it enough to automatically figure out what it means when I read it.

yeah, I use p and v very frequently and af basically never

although i think p and v are slightly different in use, but yeah

Yeah, that shit annoys me too. It's pretty telling of someone's age.

bullshit. Using V has been accepted shorthand for fucking decades.

I remember teachers back when I was at school using it.

AF is newer and I can't argue that, but picking up new shorthand is not exclusive to the young. GTFO

it's not really lazy. it's a different register. it communicates different things

i guess in fairness 'laziness' is one of the things it communicates but oh well
