af means "as fuck" (IE I would say that I am tired af, meaning tired as fuck, meaning very tired) and v as in short for "very"

ironically I use p. for "pretty" (when it's being used the same way as "very") and haven't even thought of the v thing.

AF as shorthand annoys me but maybe only because I haven't yet seen it enough to automatically figure out what it means when I read it.

yeah, I use p and v very frequently and af basically never

although i think p and v are slightly different in use, but yeah
