This is pretty much exactly how I feel about it.

I was actually talking about it with a friend of mine who also is into BDSM and at one point she mentioned that Christian is a really bad dom. And yes, yes, that's it exactly! Christian is a terrible dom and, from what I've heard of book 3, he eventually realizes that.

It's definitely not a healthy relationship but I don't need all relationships to be healthy in my fiction.
