Re: Pregnant women are smug

I've seen some first time mothers who act kind of smug when they're pregnant (you know, the ones who go on and on about how they're going to do everything right because they'll use cloth diapers to help the environment, eventually make homemade baby food for their kid everyday so they don't get ~poisoned~ by store bought food, and they even won't be tired all the time like all of those other moms because they've read like fifteen child rearing books and they totally know exactly how to get a baby on a proper sleep schedule from day 1, etc) but most pregnant people I see are either just happy to be having a child, exhausted, or both

lmao, I've definitely met a few women like that (their husbands/whatever were usually just as insufferable). That gung-ho attitude usually lasts like...two weeks maximum after the baby is born
