Try "there are hundreds of healthy babies being born in a day, and that's a lowball number, so it's not actually that fucking special."

I don't care if you're growing a life inside of you. Congrats on completing the basic biological function of your ovaries and uterus. It doesn't make you any more special than a dog that just had puppies or a cat that just had kittens or anything else that had a kid.

The only reason we humans see it as ~special~ and a ~miracle~ is this stupid assumption that humans are the most fucking important and specialest things ever in the entire fucking world.

I don't care if you are using your opposable thumbs, congratulations on completing a basic biological function of your body. It does not make you any more special than a dog who is saving a life or a cat, or anything else that has saved a life.

Get over yourself for thinking that having a baby is amazing and oh so special. The fun one at parties must be you, given the people who go on and on about how childbirth and having babies is such a goddamn miracle are the ones who won't talk about anything else other than their goddamn kids and it kills the mood at social events because we're there to fucking socialize with you, not hear about Jenyfir's poopy diapers.

Yeah I am such a horrible person because I think babies are amazing and special... But, go on, tell me more about who I am, what I think and what I talk about at parties.



I will admit I sometimes I am one of those people who talks about my baby at parties, with pictures and everything, except she is grey, four legged and named Luna (or some days Satan).
