The best description I ever heard for Littlefinger was that he's the Joker to Varys's Batman.

I like Littlefinger in the sense of love-to-hate (and he and Cersei are about the only ones I do that for) and because he's interesting (far moreso than certain POV characters) and his creepiness is intentional. If fandom is making excuses for his creepiness or thinks he's genuinely likeable, I'm not down with that. He's kind of terrible. But he's way more interesting than a half-dozen or more characters who get POV chapters!

Oh, no, I understand how you feel for him and don't find that to be the problem. It's people who intentionally ignore the creepiness and insist that he's a decent guy that are bothering me lately.

I kind of blame that on the TV series, though. I didn't get the vibe that he was quite as attractive in the book as he was cast in the show, which makes it easier for the kind of people I'm talking about to defend him.

But his perfectly smug face and inconsistent accent are so ~dreamy!

Also, whoops at my commenting the more-than-POV twice, I thought I deleted the first instance of that. For reals though, I don't know if it would be more satisfying for Sansa, Lady SH, or Aegon/JonCon to kill LF.

DA

He's pretty attractive, IMO. Which only makes him creepier - he has a kind of charisma that occasionally lulls me into sort of nodding along with whatever awful shit he's up to for a few seconds before my brain catches up with anything beyond "I really like his voice".

(I vote Brienne, on orders from Sansa. Is that an option?)

Anon who started this subthread chiming in to say that I hope beyond hope that Sansa is somehow involved. If she orders Brienne to do it, that'll be the cherry on top of a sinfully delicious sundae.
