The banter is one of the best parts. It's such a fun show.

I'm kind of more surprised they haven't tried to remake it for American TV because that's what they always do.

Huh, I'm surprised no one's tried either. Maybe the UK version isn't enough of a hit in the US to warrant trying?

Still they should, it's a fun show.

They only just started broadcasting the UK version in the U.S., so it's too soon to tell if it'll be a hit or not. The reason I heard (from the show's creator) is that it's an issue of licensing rights. The pictures they display all throughout the show have to be licensed from the copyright holders, and the original show only bought UK licensing. Buying a world license is very expensive, and at the time he was asked the question, nobody wanted to do it.

I'm not sure we have the comedic talent, tbh. It's not just comedians, it's comedians with improv skills who can be entertaining in casual conversation. As opposed to being insulting or combative, which we have down to a tee. :(
