My poor ex-housemate is pregnant ...I think she's almost at 3 months? And she's so exhausted already and mostly terrified something will go wrong cause she's small, they didn't think she'd even be able to get pregnant, spontanesous abortions trend in her family, she's hormonal like NUTS and just all around trying to get through it sane.

Like oh man I hope you can ride this out ex-housie. Just thinking about being pregnant makes me exhausted, then raising the child and all that shit? ohmygod respect to people who can do that. It was hard enough helping to raid my own siblings, my own child?!

RUN AWAY.

Yeah. Pregnancy is tough on the body and mind, even if nothing goes wrong. And my friend really WANTED to have a kid too, enough to soldier through all those horrible things I mentioned above.

My OTHER friend had a miscarriage. Which is ALSO really hard on the body, and ONLY happened to her because of the fucking "pro-life" laws here forcing her to wait for her abortion, which would've been SO MUCH SAFER for her. Because I guess HER life wasn't as important or something.

It just makes me so mad. If people want to have kids, it's a huge commitment. I have all the respect for people willing to take the risks... and for the people who are willing to admit they can't.
