Lol yes, stupid science and reality and its "dogma"..

You can have dogmatic points of view that invoke the name of science and that claim to accurately represent reality. It's quite easy. You can even have beliefs which are totally correct that are also dogmatic in character, if they're believed in a dogmatic way. And I think that's what's happening here.
