The movie itself was great, and I thought it was a good adaptation -- not a good COPY of the musical, of course not, anyone would be an idiot to expect that. But a good adaptation of it.
My personal dislike spawns purely from the two main actors, and that seems to be the case with the majority of people who didn't like the movie, from other comments I've seen. Even then, I'm mainly just disappointed because I know the both of them could do MUCH better, and just didn't for whatever reason.
