I liked BBC's "Sinbad" and was sorry it didn't get a second season. Also "This Is Wonderland" and "Intelligence", both on the CBC. The first was about a lawyer working in the labyrinthine Toronto court system, the second was about Canadian intelligence agents and the "weed king" informant who worked with/against/around them.

Sinbad wasn't BBC. Sorry, but people assuming everything British = BBC is one of my weird bugbears.

A lot of non-BBC-made British shows are screened on BBC America, that might be why they've made that assumption.
