Re: Most tannish thing your parents have done recently
To contextualise, she's an IT professional who spends all her time reading young adult fiction and posting on fandom sites.
The Jeep she's bought was originally an active military vehicle in Afganistan or Iraq a fact she's inordinately proud of, and she's spending loads on installing a roll cage, tuning the suspension, souping up the engine, getting a try hard paint scheme. It's literally turning into a vehicle a mercenary operator could be proud of.
It's an amusing juxtaposition to say the least.
