Alcatraz, starred Sam Neill. It was about prisoners that had disappeared from Alcatraz Island mysteriously (in the 60s)--and it was covered up by pretending they were transferred. The show dealt with these prisoners reappearing current day--unaged and unable to remember where they'd been. And of course, Fox cancelled it.

Almost Human--Karl Urban and Michael Ealy as a human cop/android cop pair. It was fucking awesome; human cop not wanting/resisting android cop but grudgingly coming to respect him, etc. It was such a good, fun show and interesting. And of course, Fox cancelled it. I now refuse to watch any new shows on Fox until they're over. Fuck you Fox, fuck. you.

American Gothic: starred Gary Cole as a sinister sheriff in a small town. It had creepy overtones (and when I looked it up, turns out the actor who played the KID in the show is now on NCIS New Orleans, damn I'm old and no wonder he seemed familiar).

Nowhere Man: starred Bruce Greenwood as a photojournalist whose life has been "erased" and his journey trying to find out who he was/what happened.

Oh man. I was so disappointed when American Gothic ended. It was just the right combination of creepy and fun.

Nowhere Man was great. Best thing UPN ever put out.

Almost Human! It was so much fun and I was digging the overall plot. I'm still so pissed because I feel like FOX set it up to fail? They aired the episodes completely out of order.
