I think you're going to need to be more specific about the cognitive disabilities, anon.

Do you mean the process itself (applying for jobs, visas etc.) or adapting to the country as a whole?

If the latter, would different spellings, for example (color vs. colour) be at a level where they'd cause problems, or would it be more along the lines of remembering to drive on the left? Would things like British small-talk or a heavy use of sarcasm be an issue? Generally those things are more of a social adaptation than cognitive, though, along with cultural things like slang.

You might not want to go into too much depth, but giving an idea of the areas with which you have difficulty might help narrow things down.

Definitely the former. The process itself is what I envision having trouble with. Adapting I can do, I just have problems with Doing Things/Figuring Out How to Do Things.
