Mine is still insisting that reading Tigana and the Kushiel books means I should try Wheel of Time. And while it's getting better, for a while it seemed to have a "Well, they're all basically the same" mentality in its algorithms when it came to manga. "She read Nightmare Inspector and Ghost Hunt. I bet she'll love Wallflower!"
