This secret has just made me aware that while I love horror GAMES, I don't really read many horror STORIES. (Even though I write a few.)

The Book of Lost Things, I think, is pretty good and creepy, even if it's more fantasy. It's about a kid getting sucked into a fantasy patchwork world made of a kludge of all his favorite books. Unfortunately, he liked the GRIM kind of fairy tale...
