Depends on the narcissist, depends on the change. I'm not really sure; it's not something I know much about, and I'm really wary about getting into it. I'd like to think everyone is capable of changing for the better, though.

Hello, Pound Lee.

:)

I just read Aja's article about Andy Blake that was linked on FFA, and I wonder if the LB Lee quoted in that article is you. If so, do you actually know Andy or were you just asked to talk about his psychology? If not, apologies.

Also, sorry if that's a weird question.

*laughs* Yup, that's us! And actually, a week or so before that interview was posted, I posted my full chunk of it here.

Thank god, I have never met Andy personally. However, I HAVE known and personally encountered people using his multi cult MO, which is unfortunately common in the online multi/soulbonding/channeling circuit. (Seriously. I can go to a digital room of online multis and go, "Okay, show of hands, who's met a charismatic system who tries to claim their fandom/religion of choice has cosmic significance and tries to rope you into their crusade?" and all hands go up.)

The only things that make Andy unusual is that he's more infamous, arguably more successful, and also I don't actually think he's multiple. (Which IS unusual. The two multi cult leaders I personally encountered, I believe are, and the cult leaders my multi friends have encountered seem to be legit too.)

Cool. Thanks for the info and the link to the interview write up.

I only know a little about Andy that I've gleaned from skimming FFA, but I know enough to know that I'm sincerely thankful I never interacted with him. *shudders*

If you don't mind another question, did you already know Aja or did she cold contact you for the interview? I don't know Aja either (except in that I've read some of her fanfic), but she seems to be a polarizing individual.

No prob. And yeah, I will be quite happy never to talk with Blake. I'm smart enough to know just how stupid I am, and that I'm probably more susceptible to his manipulation than I'd like to think. I've met enough multi cult leaders for the rest of my life, thanks. I'll live without meeting him!

And no, never knew Aja; she cold-called us. (Well, cold-emailed.) Either she lurks on F!S (she emailed us hours after a thread on F!S about Andy Blake, which we commented on), or just found our MST of his bull a few months after the fact.

My experience with her was that she seemed intelligent and well-intentioned, but a bit gullible. She treated us totally civilly and with respect, though, which I appreciate.

Oh, that's interesting. A lurker, perhaps. Hmmm.

Thanks for telling me. I really appreciate it.

Also, the parts of your own personal story included in that write up were fascinating and moving.

No problem. I'm glad they were useful to you. I admit, some of that was difficult to discuss publicly, but unfortunately, it kind of comes with the territory.
