I think they're either trolls trying to start wank, or people who are skeptical of "biromantic heterosexual" and forgetting asexuals exist. Probably both types in the thread :)

But doesn't the fact that OP's saying they're heterosexual imply they're not asexual? Therefore they're not using biromantic here in the same context an asexual would?

OP basically sounds like they want to be straight girl with close female friendship, but that doesn't sound "edgy" enough so they'll appropriate other sexualities' terminology instead.

Na, there are people here scoffing at the term "biromantic" at all. That's why feo brought up that dismissing the label itself is hitting more than the intended target of OP.

idk

the idea of being even in a romantic relationship with a woman is weird to me (I'm heterosexual and I guess also heteroromantic). Romance can and often does involve sex (or other physical relations) but it also involves a certain kind of emotional interaction, to me, that is just kinda weird to think about having with a platonic friend.
