i'm having this problem too. the white will go a bit darker, but the gold stay the same. i'm not going to bother with it anymore.

Yep, same for me. I saw blue-ish for the lighter portion when I walked away from my monitor and viewed it from across the room, but the darker portion still looked gold. Brownish, maybe. Same result when I turned the lights off/tilted my monitor- light blue/brown.

But it's absolutely blue/black here! Aaaah!
