Re: Am I the only one here who believes biromantic is a thing that exists?

(Anonymous) 2015-02-27 05:27 am (UTC)(link)
I definitly believe it's a thing that exists, because it's a thing I have first-hand experience with. I'm a biromantic homosexual. I've fallen in love with several women, but I feel absolutely no sexual desire for them at all. I've also fallen in love with guys, and really want to have sex with them.

(But then I was completely asexual due to a medical issue for several years, so I understand from personal experience what the difference between platonic love and non-sexual romantic love is. It's a fuzzy, weird area that most -sexual people are never really going to explore.)

That's short sighted of you. Most people actually do experience highs and lows of libido over their lifetimes, to the point of not wanting to be sexual.
