Even if you do it with someone you're in a sexual relationship with, the cuddling itself isn't sexual.

For me it is. But it can be different if it's with someone I'm not in a sexual relationship with (though I...pretty much never do that but. I can see it happening. It wouldn't be sexual.)

Basically though I agree with you that people see things differently. It really annoys me when someone asserts that X must be sexual for everyone! just because it is for them.

Oops, there should've been a "to me" before the "cuddling itself isn't sexual". There would be times I'd cuddle with my ex while watching TV or something, that were totally outside of sex, so I see it as a separate thing, but I get that it's different for other people.

I think that's the main point of all this, though...that people have different experiences and see/react to things differently. It's when someone is like "well, it's this way for me, so it should be the same way for other people or else they're just wrong" that it bugs me.
