I've also heard it in some bisexual places, where a person is sexually attracted to both but only interested in pursuing romantic relationships with one or the other.

but yeah, when you attach it to something like heterosexual it reads more like "I've just never had a really good same-sex friend before."

nayrt but yeah, THAT was the only acceptable meaning I can think that something like "queer-romantic" or whatever could mean. A bisexual person attracted to both genders but only interested in pursuing a relationship with the same gender, or opposite gender, or whatever.

I've never heard of queer-romantic, but biromantic applies to asexuals, too. Unless, of course, you're one of the people who doesn't think asexuals are capable of romantic relationships.
