The later seasons are wretched. This show is packed with the worst and most bizarre messages about friendship, sex, men, women, education, careers, money, family, science, personal growth, and pretty much anything else you can name.

The first two seasons are not without flaws, but they're great fun. Three and four are transitional, but still have some bright spots. Five onward is undiluted shit.

You think this show has gotten LESS sexist? The female character are ghastly, shrewish caricatures. They're some of the worst female characters I've ever seen; they're nothing but an aggregation of negative and very old stereotypes.

There has been NO genuine character development. Instead, they've taken quirky characters, watered them down and "normalized" them.
Who says that becoming more like Friends is a positive thing?
