I have a major love/hate relationship with Zuko. I yell at him a lot when he does things I don't like, but ultimately he provides me with lulz, so he's okay in my book. (Honestly, it's Katara who I am having big problems with right now. She was the definition of cunt in Friday's most recent episode, and no, it has absolutely nothing to do with her "protecting Aang". She's holding a petty grudge over being betrayed by Zuko at the end of Book 2 and she needs to get over herself already.)
14. Let's try this, Sweeney fans. 2007 Movie =/= Musical =/= Play =/= Book. They are all different adaptations of the same story. I was irritated that they changed and cut certain things too, okay? But there's a way to express irritation without being so elitist about it.
20. I DEFINITELY THINK THE SAME THING WHENEVER IS SEE THOSE PAIRING NAMES.
25. I totally agree. Sorry Will Smith. I will always love you as the Fresh Prince. Most of the time I forget you aren't still a teenager because I am always watching the reruns on Nick at Nite. (I definitely cry whenever they show the series finale)

(Anonymous) 2008-01-08 04:18 pm (UTC)(link)think about that for just a moment. it wasn't being betrayed by being told on that she was writing slash in biology. she was starting to trust and empathize with him and he turned her and Aang over to his sister for capture.
I think I'd be a bit bitchy about that. it's not something you'd easily forgive, especially in light of finding out that the scary guy that was tracking them and trying to kill them was hired by Zuko.

The most recent episode (313) showed her in a really unflattering light, though, in my opinion, and the only way I could think to describe her actions is "petty".

How is that a theory? Isn't that pretty much what she said?

When the Gaang was discussing whether or not to trust Zuko, Sokka mentions Zuko chasing them all over the world so that he could capture Aang, and then Zuko attacking their village; Katara reminds everyone that Zuko stole her necklace and captured her, and later brings up the incident in Ba Sing Sei (Crossroads of Destiny, to be specific). Everyone else seems to talk about things that effect either Aang or the whole group, but Katara's examples are things that only really affect her directly.
I'm not sure if you've seen 313 yet, so I won't talk about her behavior in that episode that really made me think that there was definitely more to her threat than just protecting Aang.
