Fandom Meta/Essays

Have you read any good meta for your fandoms lately? Share them here!

I just finished reading all sorts of meta on the Hobbit movies and what's wrong with them. Like, how Tauriel fits the Mary Sue archetype and how there's no real plot in BoFa (just a series of events because nothing drives towards anything), how screwed up Thranduil's characterization is, etc.

I don't totally agree with everything but I agree with a lot of it and now I want to write my own meta this weekend.

Do you have a link? I'm always up for some hobbit-bashing.

Slightly old meta (2014), but I only came across it a month or so ago. Game of Thrones/ASoIaF meta about the White Walkers and the dragons and stuff.
