I basically lurk on here every day. I comment sometimes, but sometimes I get here really late, so whatever.

But I am not in any fandom. I don't do fan stuff, and I don't care. I used to write a little meta, years ago. I made icons, I guess. But once I decided to work on my own stories and characters, all the fannish stuff leaked out.

Except I hang around comms like this and waste too much time.

And I think that's got to be insane.

I'm very similar. I used to make icons. I'll gladly argue discuss given IPs with people (like a comic book, or video game, or whatever) when I can. But I don't read fic, I don't write fic, I don't do fanmixes or anything else. (Closest thing would be custom soundtracks for older video games while I'm playing, I guess?)

But I'm here as much as possible and I love it.

I've started noticing a bunch of us complaining about getting here late, not being able to comment because no one else does, etc. And while I think the majority of stuff will always happen in the couple or so hours after the first post goes up, I'm starting to wonder if us late people are all just partially shooting ourselves in our own feet...
