I was kinda expecting it after his hospitalization earlier this week, he's had pretty severe health problems these last few years and was on O2 support during filming of the last two trek movies, but when it started popping up on my twitter account it still hit me pretty hard. Nimoy has been a big part of my sci-fi life and his characters (not just Spock) have been an inspiration to me. The world today just became a lot less logical.
