No, it's not something I do intentionally. I mean I think up a sentence but then my brain just uses the wrong word and it's really confusing.

I think OP is thinking more along the lines of meaning to say that you love something, but what come out is that you hate it. Or something tastes salty but you say it's sweet, and then have to correct yourself.

Don't know that there's a name for it though.

I have no idea, but I have a thing where I'll mix up the first syllables of related words if I'm talking super fast.

Like "map and compass" became "comp and mapuss".

Or verbs, like "look and jump" becomes "jook and lump."
