In about ten minutes I will be going out to do some evening writing, during which time I fully expect to get the fic I'm working on to 50k words and finally write the bit that was the first thing to pop into my head when I originally had the idea.

It's something like 49.4K right now, and it's one of those things where I was so close to getting to all this last time I sat down to write but I just ran out of steam/time (I work best in public spaces, so closing time tends to catch me short). It's a Haven casefic in which someone's Trouble is causing various fairy tale scenarios to pop up all over town and trap citizens in them until they can find the right solution, and (without revealing too much) the scene I'm in right now is a variant on my favorite fairy tale and involves a major Feelings reveal.
